About us

We are a small kennel from Podyjí, Czech Republic. We breed only with pedigrees. We carefully plan each connection so that the dog and the bitch complement each other not only in exterior, but also genetically and temperamentally, and pass on the best. For us, each puppy is more than just part of a litter. It is the beginning of a new story, to which we pay full attention.

The Thayensia kennel bears a name inspired by the landscape where we live. A picturesque wine-growing area on the border of the Podyjí National Park and its Austrian part, Thayatal, where vineyards smoothly alternate with deep forests and rocky valleys, where the Dyje - Thaya river quietly meanders and forms a natural border between the Czech and Austrian, nature and culture, peace and wildness, where nature is not a backdrop, but a part of everyday life.
